Colin’s past successes include:
Appellate victory in complex contract litigation. In a commercial dispute concerning the allocation of legacy environmental liabilities, Colin helped secure a victory in the Delaware Supreme Court overturning a trial-court ruling that had assigned those responsibilities to his clients.
Favorable settlement in investor litigation. Representing a private equity fund, Colin helped obtain an attractive settlement arising out of investor claims relating to the sale of a small biotechnology company. Colin also defended this settlement against collateral attacks from objecting members of the plaintiff class.
Confidential pro bono victory in employment discrimination litigation. Working pro bono, Colin helped secure a favorable settlement on behalf of a wrongfully terminated employee who alleged retaliation after seeking a disability accommodation.
